How I found out about Binaural Beats

My name is Steven Aitchison and I have a degree in Psychology and I run a very successful personal development blog. In the past I have researched meditation and have practiced it for years, on and off, and have been disappointed with the results. I would get up early every morning and practice for half an hour, sometimes doing another half hour at night. I had an open mind about meditation and really believed in all the benefits it offered. I carried this on for a few months before slowly drifting away from it, thinking I wasn't doing it properly. I done this on and off for years, I even looked into Transcendental Meditation but was put off with all the secrecy surrounding it.

Then I discovered something called Binaural Beats or Brainwave Entrainment.

Binaural Beat CDs

I bought a few Binaural Beat CDs, listened to them and felt that I was getting somewhere at last. The CDs I had bought were good but lacked the true portability I was looking for. I wanted to listen to them anywhere and because of the special need to listen to them with headphones it was hard lugging around a portable cd player everywhere. I was on the lookout for a site to download binaural beats from and store them on my iPod or MP3 player.

I found a few sites selling downloadable binaural beats however I found they lacked the professional service i was looking for. Then a friend e-mailed me a link toa great website where I discovered downloadable binaural beats with a professional service and reputable owner.

Downloading MP3s

I quickly downloaded a pack of mp3s, the program for 'Manifestation' I added a few more tracks due to the great price. here is what I received:

• Manifestation Recording (30 minutes long)

• 20 Minute Chakra Recording (20 minutes)

• All 4 Alpha and Theta Meditation Recordings (20 minutes each)

I downloaded it to my iPod and was planning on being alone and listening to it but i couldn't wait and plugged in whilst my wife and boys were busy watching TV or reading. Within a few minutes I felt a strange, trancelike, sensation. I was watching my wife as she spoke to my son and felt a deep sense of love, I then watched my other son as he watched TV and again the deep sense of love came again.

Strange Sensations

It was a strange sensation, one which I had felt before but not quite as deep. I felt as if I was on the outside looking in. I dismissed this as feeling tired, I had an open mind but part of me was really saying 'this stuff doesn't work'. However the feeling deepened and I felt relaxed, happy, (euphoric would be a better word) and calm.

I was more than happy and purchased a few more recordings and have never looked back. I am currently practicing astral projection as I have already learned how to lucid dream and it's going well.
